About Midwinter Festival

Midwinter Festival was first held in 1960, at the Lane County Fairgrounds. It has always been hosted by Emerald Empire Area Council, which meets at the Emerald Square Dance Center located on Yolanda St. in Springfield, Oregon.

In 2005, the festival moved to the Linn County Fairgrounds.  In 2010, the Midwinter Festival celebrated its Golden Jubilee.
